Introducing Lecty

It has been a while since we launched Buttons Remapper. We are happy that we were able to make easier lifes of more than 750k users worldwide with it.

Now we are happy to announce our new app. Here it is, Lecty!

Lecty is a smart audio recorder with built-in notes. It allows to highlight the important moments of the recording, instantly adding marks, comments and photos. The result is the visual representation of the recording with time reference marks.

Good day!

Now we have more than 12.5K downloads and 3K active users. It’s nice to know that our app helps so many people every day.

BTW in 1.11.3 we have added some new functions such as selecting input method and changing input language on the go. We have also added a Pause/Play function.

2500 downloads

Buttons remapper is becoming quite popular. We have 2500 downloads and 600 active users now.

It is so cool to receive feedback from our users. Good and not so good. Both. They suggest really interesting things in their comments.

For example, we have just updated the icon and added some actions which were not possible without root permissions such as Menu and Search. Unfortunately, they were not possible without Root. But the majority of functions still successfully work without Root.

1000 downloads

Yes. 1 thousand downloads has been reached.

We have got a lot of feedback. Some people say that the app is awesome and saved thier lives. Some people think that it should have been able to to start a Large Hadron Collider and put it 1-3 stars. Sorry it is not possible yet. However, we will do our best to make it.

At the last week we have added a “Do nothing” action to disable a button completely.

500 downloads

We have just reached 500 downloads with 130 active users. Awesome.

Users want to assign actions to more keys. That is an idea. Lets make an Other key section to select any recognizeable key.

Extended functionality

Someone in comments suggested to allow users to customize a button to set an action to. No problem.

Now it became possible to select Home, Recent Apps and Back keys to perform each others actions. For long and short press.

Don’t know if it is convenient to select a key and an action in such a dialog.

We have almost 200 downloads now and 30 active users. Will see how customization abilities will affect it.

Just for fun added an in-app purchase for remapping more than 2 actions. It would be not fair if it was impossible to switch Back and Recent Apps for free, doesn’t it?

One hundred downloads

Today we just get the first hundred downloads of our Buttons Remapper. Cool.

However, no one have leave a comment yet and there are only 22 active users. The app is too specific. Isn’t it?

Buttons remapper released

Today our Buttons Remapper has been released in Google Play.

The idea of the app became to me when I bought a Galaxy S6 after 3 years with Nexus 4. I realised that buttons configuration really annoys me every single day. I am talking about the position of Back and Recent Apps keys. I used to Back on the left side of the device and it looked so natural for me that I could not just understand how Samsung made such an omission in almost perfect device.

Then I tried to find a way how to make it usable again and found a solution because I am a software developer, don’t I? Yep.

It worked. Yes. Then I asked myself. If it became needed to me, maybe there are some people who need it too? Looks like there is no apps which offer such functions without root permissions or another strange things like an access to the memory card or photos.

Two evenings after I draw a simple icon and wrote a short description and here it is. My first application in Google Play has been just published. Oh, yeah.
